Dr. David Leventer, MD, is a board-certified ophthalmologist with advanced training in oculofacial plastic and reconstructive surgery. He graduated from Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons in 1995. He completed his internship at Lenox Hill Hospital, followed by his ophthalmology residency at Manhattan Eye, Ear & Throat Hospital. He later pursued a fellowship in Oculofacial Plastic Surgery at West Virginia University Hospitals, completing it in 2001.

Dr. Leventer specializes in treating conditions involving the eyelids, tear ducts, and orbit. His areas of expertise include droopy eyelid correction, DCR surgery, eyelid and lacrimal surgery, orbital surgery, cataract surgery, and chalazion removal. He is board certified in ophthalmology and is also certified by ASOPRS, reflecting his advanced specialization in oculoplastic surgery.

He currently sees patients across multiple locations, including Springfield (Monday and Thursday), Lakewood (Tuesday and Friday), and West Long Branch (Tuesday), offering convenient access to expert eye care.
